Strong Is As Strong Does of the Day: North Korea is strong. How strong? Well, the source code of the official webpage of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea pretty much speaks for itself, doesn’t it? (i.e., very strong).

Try Harder of the Day: Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” and Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” are the same song. But you already knew that.
RIP Music.

Every online community follows a standard of ethics and guidelines decided upon by that community. Any violation of these standards can easily metastasize and spread, eventually killing the community. Tumblr - as many of you all would agree - is not only a way you can blog and express yourself, but is a vibrant community of ideas, art, news, politics, and humor. It is vibrant and alive because the users of Tumblr have a high standard of use: give credit where credit is due. While some are better at maintaining to this standard, the community on Tumblr more-or-less understands that the life of the community relies on maintaining the social media heart.
Except 9gag. 9gag has made a business model in taking from the community and not giving anything back. 9gag does not cite. 9gag does not link. 9gag does not care. It is not in 9gag’s interests to enrich the discourse happening over Tumblr. Rather, it is to profit - therein by poisoning the well.

The origin of this drink is unknown. I have searched the internet high and low for the actual creator, but I just can’t seem to find who made it first. The earliest mention of it that I can find is from the 4chan archives in 2007. If you are the creator of this drink (first of all, great job, this is awesome), please contact me with proof and I will give you the credit you deserve. Photography by jedifreac.
Kids Say The Darndest Things of the Day: Justin Bieber doesn’t know if “Bieber” means “Basketball” in German.
And by “doesn’t know if ‘Bieber’ means ‘Basketball’ in German” I mean “isn’t familiar with the word ‘German.’”
